2018-19 Season: Rover ruckus

Rover Ruckus was our third season participating in FTC. During this season, we started utilizing our school’s laser cutter and 3D printer more often, allowing us to design and fabricate custom parts that helped set our robot above the rest. Along with a slew of other awards, we won the 1st place Judges Award at our ILT, an award chosen by the tournament’s judges to represent our unique efforts, performance, and team dynamics. At the end of this season, our main outreach effort was a project to create wheelchairs for dogs. We used a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) program called Onshape to create custom-fitted wheelchairs for dogs.
